After working in management for several years for one of the nation's leading technology companies, Mike made the decision to attend law school to develop his passion for being an advocate. Since obtaining his law degree, he has spent his legal career litigating in both state and federal courts as well as in the state and federal multi-district litigation forums. He is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Oklahoma and has first-chaired numerous jury and non-jury trials. This experience has included the defense of cases involving medical malpractice against doctors and hospitals, products liability, personal injury, transportation, toxic tort and long term exposures. In addition, Mike has advised clients regarding the rights of property owners' associations, community association issues, natural resource issues, environmental issues as well as contractual and extra-contractual issues. He has also served as guest speaker on numerous occasions at various seminars and symposiums to promote dispute/litigation prevention, mitigation of actions and reduction of risk exposure, and created educational programs and nationwide training on varied legal topics for lawyers and employees of business entities.
