James G. Fahey joined Sorling, Northrup, Hanna, Cullen & Cochran, Ltd. in 2000 after completing a clerkship with Fourth District Appellate Court Justice Sue E. Myerscough. Prior to joining Sorling, Mr. Fahey earned a Certificate in Employment Law from St. Louis University School of Law, where he served as Associate Editor of St. Louis University's Public Law Review. Mr. Fahey has authored several articles in professional publications and regularly provides seminars on a variety of legal issues.
A former Staff Attorney with the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts and a past Director of Adult Court Services in Sangamon County, Fahey has held management, research, and direct service positions at the state, appellate, and circuit court levels. Mr. Fahey concentrates his practice in commercial, employment, personal injury, intellectual property and appellate litigation in both state and federal courts and administrative tribunals. Mr. Fahey also provides consultation services to court administrators on employment, operational and management practices.
Mr. Fahey is a member of the American, Illinois State, and Sangamon County Bar Associations.
