Tish Eggleston Pahl is a principal at OFW Law. She was born in Pasadena, California and graduated from Northwestern University in 1983. She earned her Juris Doctor from Northwestern University cum laude in 1988. She was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 1988 and the District of Columbia Bar in 1991. She is currently a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
Ms. Pahl is regulatory counsel to drug, cosmetic, dietary supplement, and food clients with concerns before the Food and Drug Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, and other federal agencies. Her work has encompassed representation with regard to both human and animal drugs and foods. She has particular expertise in the areas of health care communications, advertising, and labeling of FDA-regulated products, and advocacy of commercial First Amendment speech rights under the United States Constitution. Further, she advises trade association clients on a range of antitrust and trade regulation issues. Ms. Pahl has served as litigation counsel in challenges to and defense of federal agency decisions and rulemakings arising under the Administrative Procedure Act. She has represented clients in numerous actions involving drug approvals and entitlements to exclusivity under the Waxman-Hatch Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
Ms. Pahl was an American Bar Association Central and Eastern European Initiative liaison to Romania in 1992-1993 working on rule of law projects and service as an international election observer.
Ms. Pahl has been a frequent speaker on numerous topics, including advertising and labeling compliance, and implementation of the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002.
