Clayton A. Clark is the managing partner of Clark, Love & Hutson and supervises the firm’s personal injury, products liability, pharmaceutical, intellectual property and insurance litigation sections. Clayton is a national trial lawyer with extensive multi-state experience in trying and settling litigation matters on behalf of plaintiffs.
Clayton graduated from the University of Texas in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts. He graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1990. He gained invaluable experience by working with famous Texas trial lawyers, prior to forming his own firm in his third year of practice.
Clayton served as Plaintiffs’ Liaison Counsel in the Phen-Fen Litigation and Paxil Birth Defects Cases, both in the Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and served on the PPA National Litigation Group Committee National Bankruptcy Committee for Toxic Tort/Dangerous Drug (Delaco Bankruptcy, New York, New York).
Currently, Clayton serves on the Executive Committee of the Plaintiffs' Leadership Counsel in the Pradaxa (Dabigatran Etexilate) Products Liability Litigation assigned to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, MDL No. 2385. In addition, Clayton was selected to serve on the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee over five separate Multidistrict Litigations in the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia:
Clayton is a member of the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee for each of the above MDLs, and is national Co-Lead Counsel in the Boston Scientific Corp. Pelvic Repair System Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2326.
