Jerome Elwell is a litigator with extensive experience in complex civil and commercial litigation, plaintiff’s personal injury and insurance defense. Mr. Elwell also devotes a significant portion of his practice to probate and estate litigation, including contested guardianship and conservatorship matters, will and trust contests, disputed estate administrations and elder abuse violations.
Mr. Elwell received his B.S. in general business and personnel management (1985) from the University of Arizona and his J.D. (1989) from the University of Arizona College of Law.
Mr. Elwell is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and currently serves as a board member and executive officer (Treasurer) of the Maricopa County Bar Association. Before joining the board of directors of the Maricopa County Bar, Mr. Elwell served on and chaired several committees including terms as executive officer and President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Maricopa County Bar. Mr. Elwell has served as a judge pro tempore of the Maricopa County Superior Court for several years, focusing in civil litigation and probate administration matters.
