Brian A. Catrinar is the newest member of the Kaufman, Payton & Chapa litigation team. His practice is focused on representing companies and individuals in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation. Brian also has extensive experience in appellate practice and procedure. Brian is best known for his aggressiveness, enthusiasm, and ability to achieve successful results for his clients. Brian firmly believes that a strong attorney - client relationship is the key to successful representation and strives to provide prompt and diligent responses to client questions and concerns.

Brian A, Catrinar conducted his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan where he graduated from Michigan State University's College of Social Sciences with honors, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science - Prelaw. Brian continued his studies at the University of Detroit -Mercy School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor in May of 2012 and was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in November of 2012.

Brian was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area and enjoys giving back to the community he grew up in. Once a week, Brian participates in the Reading Buddies Program - a program designed to reinforce the importance of reading to elementary age students in the City of Detroit.
