Jennifer Choy practices intellectual property law with an emphasis on technology and licensing transactions. Jennifer's experience includes the negotiation of licensing agreements, confidentiality agreements, structuring of intellectual property purchase and sales, manufacturing and distribution agreements, and copyrights and trademark agreements.
Jennifer also has experience with intellectual property litigation and prosecution. She managed a team of attorneys in conducting the discovery phase of an intellectual property litigation related to MP3 technology. She has experience drafting motions, conducting legal research and analysis, conducting prior art searches, and assisting in due diligence investigations. Jennifer also has drafted and filed patent applications for medical device technologies related to medical pumps.
Jennifer served as president of the Student Bar Association while in law school and was awarded the ABA Law Student Division's highest honor as SBA President of the Year 2007. Prior to law school, she was a manager at the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Technology Transfer where she worked on technology transactions in the biomedical engineering department. During her graduate studies, Jennifer did significant work with medical pumps, stents, and stem cells.
