Chertock, Gene L.

Gil Egle is an attorney with twenty-nine years experience in the practice of law.  He is admitted to practice in Colorado federal and state courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.  Gil earned his law degree from the University of Wyoming in 1983, where he was a Senior Editor of the Land and Water Law Review.  After completing law school he moved to Denver, Colorado, where he began practicing law, first in the securities field, then in commercial litigation and ultimately developing a broad and varied construction law practice.  Gil is a member of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations, and a section member of the Litigation, Construction and Real Estate Sections.

Gil is a frequent speaker on construction topics to contractors and other construction professionals and for a number of years taught classes to contractors on many aspects of construction contracts.  Currently, Gil is the co-author and editor of a Colorado continuing legal education publication entitled, “Colorado Liens and Claims Handbook.”  He is also the author for the Colorado section of the internet publication, Lien Law Online, which can be found at www.lienlawonline.com.  Gil is a member of the Rocky Mountain Surety Association, the Design-Build Institute of America and the American Subcontractors Association.  He is also a past Chairman of the Board for the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce.
