Chad was born in Beijing, China and grew up in Los Angeles, California. Chad was admitted to the bar of the State of California, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California, in 2009. Chad received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Irvine in 2005, and his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in 2009. While at Southwestern, Chad was an editor and executive board member of the Southwestern Journal of International Law. He also served as a judicial extern for United States District Court Judge Otis D. Wright, II, and United States Bankruptcy Court Judge Barry Russell. Chad's practice has included professional liability and employment law matters. Chad's current practice is diverse and includes complex tort litigation, products liability, commercial litigation and transactions, and energy law. Chad is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Pasadena Bar Association, and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel. Chad is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
