Alicia M. Casale is of counsel to Murphy Karber PLC and maintains a broad-based litigation practice, including business and commercial law matters. She also engages in transactional work for small businesses including company formation, lease preparation and contract negotiations.
Before joining Murphy Karber, Casale spent ten years serving as general counsel to a multi-restaurant owner and operator. During this tenure, Casale handled business purchase agreements, real estate acquisitions, lease negotiations and company formations. She also handled human resource and employment law issues including hiring and termination protocol, sensitivity training and e-verify compliance.
Casale also handled investor communications, license and permit renewals, property tax appeals, communication with federal, state and city taxing authorities; liquor license conversions and use permit processes.
Prior to her time as general counsel, Casale worked in private practice, where she represented both plaintiffs and defendants in business and commercial litigation matters, construction related disputes and contested probate cases. She also had the privilege of serving as a full-time judicial extern for U.S. Magistrate Lawrence O. Anderson, United States District Court, District of Arizona.
Casale graduated from the University of San Francisco, School of Law, and earned a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Arizona State University.
