Carver, Lisa Marie

Ms. Carstensen concentrates her practice in the area of Family Law, representing clients in all stages of Family Law and Domestic Violence litigation.  Ms. Carstensen was named to the New Jersey “Rising Stars” list as one of the top up and coming attorneys in New Jersey for 2012. 

After obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall Law School, Ms. Carstensen served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stephen B. Rubin, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Hunterdon County, Family Division,  While in law school, Ms. Carstensen volunteered as a student attorney for the Family Law Clinic and was recognized for presenting the best oral argument in Appellate Advocacy in 2004. 

Ms. Carstensen is a member of New Jersey State Bar Association, the Morris County Bar Association, and the Northern New Jersey Family Law Inn of Court. Ms. Carstensen serves as an Early Settlement Panelist in Morris County.  She volunteers for the Jersey Battered Women’s Services Inc.’s Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project and the Morris County Self Help Resource Center.  Ms. Carstensen also volunteers for Dress for Success, an organization which assists underprivileged women in establishing interview appropriate wardrobes.
