Eva L. Carrasco joined Hanlon Law Group, P.C. in 2012. She has practiced exclusively as an Immigration Attorney since 2006 and has represented numerous clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for permanent residency, citizenship, U-visas and asylum. She also engages in federal court litigation and defends clients in removal proceedings before the U.S. Immigration Courts.
While in law school, Ms. Carrasco was engaged in a series of clerkships. These clerkships were with El Rescate Immigration Services; the Los Angeles Superior Court with the Honorable Judge Aurelio Munoz; Bet Tzedek Legal Services; and the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Los Angeles.
Ms. Carrasco obtained her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Political Science and Policy Studies from the University of California at Los Angeles, and obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, CA. Ms. Carrasco is admitted to the California State Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Carrasco speaks Spanish fluently.
