Bradford Calvin has been a lawyer in Orange County for the past 17 years. His current practice, located in Santa Ana, is limited to consumer bankruptcy, business litigation, and criminal defense. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum.
Mr. Calvin has handled bankruptcy cases all over Southern California, in both the Central and Southern Districts. His clients come from Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, San Bernardino and San Diego Counties. In addition to his private bankruptcy practice, over the past several years Mr. Calvin has instructed and assisted hundreds of pro per (self-represented persons) debtors with their own bankruptcies in his capacity as a contract attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, and as a volunteer attorney working with the Public Law Center.
Mr. Calvin has extensive experience not only in bankruptcy, but also in litigation of small business and civil cases. Furthermore, he has substantial experience in handling criminal cases, including both state and federal misdemeanor and felony cases, ranging from drug possession, DUI, domestic violence, criminal street gangs, assault and battery, to federal wire fraud cases.
Mr. Calvin earned his law degree from Western State University, College of Law, in Fullerton, CA in 1994. He graduated in the top third of his class, and earned an Emphasis in Taxation. He passed the California Bar exam on his first attempt. He earned a Bachelors of Arts in Communications from Cal State Fullerton in 1990. Mr. Calvin is licensed to practice before all California courts, the Central and Southern District Federal and Bankruptcy Courts, and the United States Tax Court.
When not practicing law Mr. Calvin enjoys spending time with his family. He is also an avid runner, wine lover and amateur chef. He is a native Californian having grown up in the Westminster, Orange and Costa Mesa.
