Thomas E. Callow graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1979. He has been in private practice in the Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills area since 1979 and joined Monaghan, P.C. in January of 2006.
Mr. Callow concentrates his practice in the areas of employee benefits, federal and state taxation, estate planning and general business services for closely held businesses.
Mr. Callow has over 30 years of experience in employee benefits. He provides advice, design and assistance in the formation, operation and termination of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, including IRS submissions, insured and self-insured welfare plans, including COBRA issues, medical expense reimbursement plans and cafeteria plans.
Mr. Callow's practice in the area of taxation involves advising clients on matters of federal and Michigan individual and business taxation and preparing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, estates and trusts.
Mr. Callow also advises closely held corporations in general business matters, including the formation of C and S corporations, LLCs, general partnerships and limited partnerships, preparation of shareholder and partnership agreements, redemption agreements and employment agreements and review of general contractual issues.
Mr. Callow has for many years served on the board of the Southeastern Michigan Computer Organization, Inc., a non-profit computer user group.
