David Callahan represents a wide variety of clients - from the young to elderly, middle class to wealthy, and salaried employees to business owners - in all stages of the domestic relations action. He and his team represent both men and women, and they may be same-sex or opposite sex partners.
Having handled over 300 divorce matters in recent years, Attorney Callahan takes the time to help his clients truly understand how the legal process works. One of his first pieces of advice to new clients is taking a field trip to the courthouse that will handle your case, observe the mannerisms and personality of your assigned judge, and watch how he or she conducts hearings and controls their courtroom. Since each judge interprets the law a little differently, you will gain valuable insight into the judge's thought process.
Whether it's a divorce, paternity, custody, or domestic violence matter, Mr. Callahan has appeared in each of the Worcester-area Probate and Family courts. He's represented clients in Middlesex, Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Barnstable courts. Additionally, since divorce and bankruptcy matters are often intertwined, David has represented debtors in Suffolk, Worcester, and Plymouth County.
David received his undergraduate degree from Becker College in Worcester. A 2004 graduate from the New England School of Law, Mr. Callahan is an active member of both the Massachusetts and Connecticut Bars. He lives in Worcester with his wife and two adopted children. David is an avid marathon runner and supporter for the charity The Second Step, a home for women who have been the victim of domestic violence.
