Jaimie L. Cairns is an associate in the law firm of Ruppert & Schaefer P.C., where she practices exclusively in the area of family law.

Jaimie has experience in high asset divorces, contested custody cases, cases involving jurisdictional issues under both the UCCJA and UIFSA, and a variety of other family law cases.  She also handles family law appeals and has argued before the Indiana Court of Appeals

She received her Juris Doctorate with Honors from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. and a Bachelor of Arts degree Summa Cum Laude from Indiana State University.  Her volunteer work includes being the chair of the Children's Bureau Young Professionals Advisory Board, volunteering as a mentor with the Starfish Initiative, volunteering as a Guardian ad Litem through Kids Voice, and volunteering at the Indianapolis Bar Association's Ask a Lawyer. In 2012, Mrs. Cairns was selected for the Indianapolis Bar Association's Bar Leader Series.
