Mike Burgoyne has a wide range of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including real estate finance and the acquisition and disposition of hotels, grocery stores, apartments, and office buildings located throughout the United States. He also represents clients in the real estate details of merger and acquisition transactions and corporate real estate services matters.
Representative transactions include $1.4 billion in serial portfolio dispositions of 30 apartment complexes by the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds, the acquisition of approximately 3.2 million square feet of downtown office space in Chicago by Behringer Harvard, and the $433 million acquisition of the Krotz Springs Refinery by Alon USA Energy. Mike also has represented Albertson's, Jeffries Finance, Minyard Food Stores, Patriarch Partners, and the Pyramid Hotel Opportunity Venture Funds.
Mike is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association.
