Michael focuses his intellectual property practice on chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology innovations. In particular, he has experience with patent issues relating to small molecule pharmaceuticals, formulations, antibodies, medical devices, and paper technology. Michael has worked with multinational companies, start-ups, and universities.
Michael worked as a law clerk at Pennie & Edmonds from 2001 through 2003 while attending law school in the evening. He has conducted research in the areas of enzymology and vaccine development and has published several articles on transition-state analysis of enzyme catalyzed reactions.
