Attorney Allen Brown was bom and raised in Nashville, Tennessee as a 6th generation Nashvillian. He graduated from The Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tennessee and went on to graduate from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee with a Bachelors of Arts degree in philosophy. After college, he worked several years at various insurance companies as a workers' compensation claims adjuster in Tennessee and others states. He went on to work at the Tennessee Department of Labor, Workers' Compensation Division as a mediator and arbitrator where he mediated close to a thousand cases and ruled on over three hundred. While at the DOL, he attended the Nashville School of Law from which he graduated in 2007. He obtained his license to practice law in 2008 and was promoted to the appeals section of the Tennessee Department of Labor, Workers' Compensation Division where he ruled on over eight hundred appealed cases. Allen has been in private practice since November 2010 representing clients in courts throughout Tennessee in workers' compensation cases, contract disputes, family law matters, and personal injury cases. He has been a Rule 31 listed mediator since 2004. Allen is married to Jerri, his high school sweetheart, and has two lovely children. Allen is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee and enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys Whitewater canoeing, history and the natural world.
