Evest A. Broussard, III is an associate with The Baringer Law Firm, L.L.C., where his areas of practice are corporations, construction law and immigration. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on February 16, 1967. He was admitted to the Bar in 1997. He is admitted to practice in the Middle and Western Districts as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Broussard is also admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Arkansas. He received a B.A. from Louisiana State University in 1992 and his J.D. degree from Southern University Law Center in 1996. In 1997 he assisted in preparing the update for the book Louisiana Corporations by James S. Holliday, Jr. and Rick Norman. Also in 1997 he prepared and participated in a program given by the American Inns of Court on Ethics and Professionalism. This program was given as the CLE program at the 1997 Louisiana State Bar Associations Annual Convention. It was recognized as one of the top five programs in national competition by the American Inns of Court. In 1996, he assisted in the research for a seminar given by the National Business Association on Family Limited Partnerships in Louisiana.
