Ellen is an associate in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. She is based in our Minneapolis office and is a member of the Business Litigation Section. She practices principally in the areas of:
- Business litigation
- Employment litigation
Ellen is admitted to practice in
Minnesota and is a member of
Minnesota Women Lawyers. Prior to joining the firm, Ellen was a bankruptcy analyst with Wells Fargo Financial, where she worked to protect creditor rights in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcies.
Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Ellen received a B.A. cum laude in political science from St. Olaf College. She received a J.D. magna cum laude from the William Mitchell College of Law. In 2005, Ellen received the Best Brief Award and was named a "Top 10 Oral Advocate" in the New York Bar Association's National Moot Court Competition. She joined Briggs in 2006.
