For approximately 4 years I was an assistant attorney general to the State of Montana, traveling around the state defending the State from many types of lawsuits, including dam failures, highway defects, accidents and other claims against the State of Montana. I then moved with my family to Sonoma County in late 1986 and decided to only represent individuals in their disputes against insurance companies, corporations who design or manufacture defective products, government entities (including city, county, state or federal government), owners of dangerous premises, and landlords who rent residential properties that are not safe or habitable. I have taken numerous cases to trial and have had results in excess of $1,000,000 and have settled cases for my clients from small cases to millions of dollars. In my practice here in Sonoma County I have recovered for my clients more than $20,000,000 in the past 22 years.
