Edward M. Boyle has been in trial practice in Kansas & Missouri since 1965. He has participated in thousands of lawsuits, has tried hundreds of cases, and has been responsible for handling approximately fifty reported appellate decisions. A number of these appellate decisions represent leading legal precedent in the areas involved. His work has included handling personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, insurance, construction, trade secrets, trademark, patent and commercial litigation.
Mr. Boyle attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating magna cum laude with a major in economics. Upon graduation he was commissioned in the United States Navy serving several years aboard U.S.S. Parsons DD949. He then attended the University of Kansas where he received his law degree graduating with highest distinction. While in law school, he held class offices, and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Kansas Law Review.
Mr. Boyle is admitted to practice in the State and Federal courts in Kansas and Missouri. He is a member of the Kansas, Missouri, American and local Bar Associations. He belongs to specialized trial associations, including the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Earl O’Conner Inn of Court. Mr. Boyle has previously served as Special Assistant Attorney General of the Kansas Antitrust Program, as the Secretary of the Kansas Board of Discipline of Attorneys. He has also served on the Bench/Bar Committee in Johnson County, Kansas, and as chairman of the Judicial Evaluations Committee in Johnson County, Kansas.
