Robert Boyers has been practicing law for over twenty years and focuses on Qui Tam and other complex civil litigation matters. He has obtained millions of dollars in awards for his clients and has been repeatedly named a Super Lawyer in Florida Super Lawyers Magazine, a Top Lawyer in the South Florida Legal Guide, as one of Florida's Legal Elite in Florida Trend magazine and was profiled as a Legal Impact Leader in the 2008 and 2010 issues of Business Leader magazine. He also holds an AV rating – the highest rating for skill and ethics - from the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory.
Following his graduation from the Emory University School of Law in 1990, Mr. Boyers began his legal career as a trial lawyer in New York City where he practiced law with a prominent civil trial firm in Manhattan. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County, New York and was appointed a Special Prosecutor to Kings County (Brooklyn) to oversee the investigation of a high profile officer-involved fatal shooting case. He has devoted his legal career to the pursuit of justice and to holding wrongdoers accountable for the harm that they cause.
Mr. Boyers is a frequent author and lecturer on civil trial matters, is a Past-President of the Miami-Dade Justice Association and has served as a board member of the Florida Justice Association and an Executive Board Member of the Samantha Foundation (a charitable organization devoted to advancing the cause of child safety). He sits on the Civil Rights Committee of the Anti-defamation League and the Professionalism Committee of the Dade County Bar Association. Mr. Boyers is admitted to the bars of Florida, New York and Connecticut.
