Mrs. Brabston's practice is concentrated in civil litigation, in both state and federal court. She is experienced in the employment-law area and regularly handles issues dealing with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (including sexual harassment, sex discrimination, and race discrimination cases), the Employees' Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). She has also handled other civil matters, including cases of retaliatory discharge, discrimination in hiring, fraud, and breach of contract. In addition, Ms. Brabston assists clients with the handling of day-to-day employment issues, as well as the establishment and review of employment policies, procedures, and contracts. Ms. Brabston is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, U.S. District Court (Northern District of Alabama), and all Alabama state courts.
