Shannon L. Boudreaux has been fortunate to practice in many areas of the law. Ms. Boudreaux worked as counsel in litigation involving over 2000 defendants, she served as President of a small law partnership that handled a variety of legal matters, she established, developed and managed the family law department of a larger law firm, and she provided leadership in support of a consortium of law firms handling mass tort litigation across the nation. In addition to practicing law, Ms. Boudreaux was also an adjunct professor for the University of Houston for several years teaching upper level Sociology courses.
After several years of working for others, Ms. Boudreaux has formed her own law firm that focuses primarily on family law. She handles all aspects of family law, including divorces, child custody, enforcements, and adoptions.
In addition to her work representing clients, Ms. Boudreaux is a certified family law and civil law mediator, assisting persons in resolving disputes amicably to avoid protracted litigation. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, and the Houston Bar Association.
Ms. Boudreaux is a May 2003 graduate of South Texas College of Law, where she was a member of the Dean's List and graduated near the top of her class. Prior to attending law school, she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Sociology with a specialization in Criminology from the University of Houston. Ms. Boudreaux also has a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. She is licensed in the State of Texas and the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas.
Ms. Boudreaux has earned a number of awards and honors throughout her career, including being named Businesswoman of the Year for two years by the National Republican Congressional Committee's Business Advisory Counsel.
