Melissa Bobrow is a skilled trial attorney committed to serving her clients. Melissa started her career working for H. Dean Steward, APC , in San Clemente, California. Melissa represented clients in a variety of high profile, federal white collar cases, including United States v. Tan Nguyen. Melissa has represented clients accused of serious crimes such as, murder, attempted murder, RICO violations, mortgage fraud, bank fraud, money laundering, bribery, tax crimes, computer crimes, drug crimes, robbery, burglary, sex crimes, alien smuggling, and illegal reentry.
Melissa started her own law practice in 2010 and has become a leading attorney in the field of medical marijuana. Melissa has defended clients facing criminal charges in both federal and state court. Additionally, Melissa served as faculty at the Legal Cannabis Institute teaching “Medical Marijuana Law” and “Avoiding Police Encounters”. Melissa’s other accomplishments include being published in the ABA Employment Law Journal, and working with local media to educate the public about the changing landscape of medical marijuana laws. Melissa also works with law enforcement and government officials from all over the state, in an effort to address problems and create reasonable solutions in the medical marijuana industry.
Melissa is the recipient of the Thomas Adler Scholarship from the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association and will attending the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia this summer.
