James Blanchette is a partner of the firm. His practice focuses on patent prosecution and litigation, patent reexamination proceedings, patent infringement and validity analysis, domain name disputes, trademark registration, and client counseling in patent and trademark matters. James has particular experience in appeals before the Board of Patent Appeal and Interferences (BPAI) and in disputes under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).

James assists clients in a variety of technology areas including network device and protocols, computer architectures, engineering and CAD software, VLSI design and verification, data storage systems, audio/video devices, medical devices, mechanical devices and consumer products.

He represents clients who are looking to build intellectual property protection, enforce existing intellectual property rights and defend against improper enforcement.
