William J. Blakemore is senior counsel with Wilson Law, P.A. Bill’s practice focuses on civil litigation in the areas of products liability, defective medical devices, personal injury and pharmaceutical litigation. He has been working on mass torts with Kim Wilson for over six years. Bill represents individuals who have been injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents, defective products and medical devices, medical negligence and unsafe conditions on business or residential premises.

Bill earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University in 2003. He earned his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 2007, where he was the recipient of the Raymond A. and Barbara J. Hinerman Law Scholarship and a member of the College of Law Clinical Program, which provided legal assistance to individuals who could not otherwise afford representation.

Bill is admitted to practice in North Carolina and the U.S. District Courts throughout North Carolina. He was recently selected by his peers as a Super Lawyers, North Carolina Rising Star for 2010. Bill is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice and North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

Bill lives in Raleigh with his wife and son. His wife, Susan, is a third grade teacher in the Wake County Public School System. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and traveling.
