Bird, Christine

Christine Bird is a 1988 graduate of the University of Virginia. In 1989 she moved to North Central Florida and attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, earning her J.D. in 1992. After graduation, Ms. Bird remained in the North Central Florida area practicing in the areas of Criminal Defense and Family Law. In 1996, she established a law practice with Tania Z. Alavi in Ocala, Florida.

Ms. Bird is an experienced litigator in both State and Federal Courts, having tried approximately 50 cases before a jury. Ms. Bird has successfully litigated cases in Family Law, Federal Law and State Criminal law, including Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Sex cases and Homicide cases. Ms. Bird is admitted in the Middle District of Florida Federal Court and is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia. She presently practices in the areas of Criminal Law, Family Law and Federal Criminal Defense .

 Ms. Bird's practice includes appellate work. She has perfected appeals for the Fith District Court of Appeals in Daytona and for the United States Court Of Appeals for the 11th Circuit in Atlanta.
