C. Dunham Biles, a partner in the firm's Dallas office, previously worked for Bickel & Brewer. Prior to rejoining the firm in 2006, Mr. Biles gained extensive experience in litigating complex commercial matters and conducted jury and non-jury trials and mediations. Mr. Biles' practice concentrates on complex commercial litigation including antitrust, intellectual property, a broad range of other business disputes and matters of public interest.
Mr. Biles often lectures on a variety of legal issues and recently participated in a public forum at the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law that addressed legal challenges to the controversial "immigration ordinances" being proposed in the Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch, Texas and other cities across the country. He co-authored "Keep Justice Balanced," National Law Journal, August 2003.
Mr. Biles received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his juris doctor degree from the University of Chicago.
Mr. Biles is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the District Court of Arizona and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits.
He has been recognized annually since 2009 as a "Texas Rising Star" by Texas Super Lawyers, published by Thomson Reuters.
