Benjamin P. Bean practices in the area of civil litigation focusing on corporate and transactional matters, as well as employment law. Mr. Bean also has considerable experience dealing with administrative and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bean was an associate at Panza, Maurer and Maynard, P.A., where he represented clients in both state and federal court, including receivership and conservator actions protecting and marshaling assets.
Mr. Bean was appointed by the Fort Lauderdale City Commission to serve on the Community Services Board. He is a member of the Appellate, Trial, City, County and Local Government, Business, and Environment and Land Use Sections of The Florida Bar.
Mr. Bean is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 2009. While in law school, Mr. Bean was the Executive Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review, an SBA Senator and a project leader for HOPE, the law school’s public interest resource center. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from University of Michigan in 2004.
