Ani is a member of Sjoberg & Tebelius, P.A. business transactions and litigation practice. In her diverse business practice, Ani represents small and medium sized businesses on all aspects of their business practice, as well as she leads and manages litigation for her business clients both as local and national counsel. A focus of Ani's practice is representing companies in the areas of energy efficiency, renewables and conservation wherein she counsels clients on issues related to local and federal regulatory compliance, project development, financing and taxable debt structures, permitting and customer contracts. In working with energy start-up companies in efficiency and renewables, Ani has gained comprehensive experience from the point of patenting and incorporation to project development and successful implementation. In addition to her legal practice, Ani is passionate about her leadership and community development work. She will be a graduate of the 2013 Leadership of Saint Paul program where she is among a select group of decision-makers, influencers and business owners with a drive to build networks, develop professionally and expand their leadership opportunities. Ani also serves on various committees and boards for non-profit organizations, and she is a member of the Energy Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association (Corporate Counsel, Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy Law, Public Utilities Law). Ani's international experience and knowledge of foreign languages round up her impressive educational and professional experience.
