Mr. Bacon became a lawyer to pursue his passion of protecting the rights of consumers and employees, and his work focusses on advocating the use of class action litigation as a mechanism to protect those rights and stop unfair corporate practices.
Prior to joining Marlin & Saltzman, LLP, Mr. Bacon’s practice focused on protecting consumers from unlawful and unfair business practices. Mr. Bacon filed, managed, and otherwise worked on several complex class action matters, including actions involving product liability, breach of warranty, antitrust, false and deceptive advertising, unfair business practices, privacy protection, fraud and breach of contract. Mr. Bacon also worked extensively on behalf of consumers in the Toyota Unintended Acceleration Litigation.
Mr Bacon’s current practice focuses on protecting the rights of employees and consumers. In both state and federal court, he represents employees in actions seeking recovery for unlawful corporate practices, including unpaid wages and expenses.
Mr. Bacon is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles College of the Law, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bacon helped found and manage a successful online retailer, which develops and sells alternative energy green lighting products for homes and automobiles. He is currently admitted to practice in the State of California.
