Gene is the managing partner of Anderson, Roberts, Porth & Wallace, P.L.C. He was born in Fairfield, Iowa in 1944. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Iowa, College of Business Administration in 1966. Gene attended law school at the University of Iowa, College of Law, where he received his J.D. degree in 1968. While attending the University of Iowa, he was president of Phi Alpha Delta Law fraternity and Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. After completing law school, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corp. from 1969-1972. During this time period, he enrolled at George Washington University in Washington D.C. and received his LLM in taxation in 1972. Gene was admitted into the Iowa Bar Association in 1968, the Oklahoma District Court in 1969, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1972.
Gene's practice is a general practice including but not limited to the areas of estate planning, probate and estate administration, and business planning.
