Litigations include representing:  Actavis Pharmaceutical in trade dress litigation brought by Johnson & Johnson; Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. in obtaining dismissal of a false labeling case; JC Penney in a trademark/patent infringement case; DataCapture Solutions in an antitrust/Lanham Act matter; Group Health Inc. in successfully defeating the City of New York's request for a Temporary Restraining Order enjoining its merger with Health Insurance Plan of New York; Reading International, City Cinemas and Village East Limited Partnership in their litigation against a number of movie distributors and exhibitors in the Southern District of New York alleging violations of the Sherman Act based on their conduct in refusing to license top films to plaintiffs; Purepac Pharmaceutical Co. in its successful action against the F.D.A. in the District Court in the District of Columbia to obtain a temporary restraining order to enjoin approval of a generic drug; Vantico Holdings in its litigation in the Southern District of New York to prevent Apollo Advisors' hostile takeover of Vantico; Petra Stelling in her successful recovery in a fraud and contract action against the Chairman of Emerson Radio in District Court in New Jersey; The Stanley Works in defense of a patent infringement action brought by Therma-Tru Corporation; the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York in winning a jury verdict in its defense of a contract and fraud action in the Southern District of New York brought by Insurance Alliances Group; U.S. Surgical in defense of a patent action; and the National Basketball Association in its defense of an action brought by Chicago Professional Sports Limited and the Chicago Bulls Basketball team for violation of the Sherman Act in the Northern District of Illinois.

Recent mergers include representing Bemis in its acquisition of the Food Americas' Assets of Alcan, BellSouth in its merger with AT&T, GameStop Corp. in its acquisition of Electronics Boutique, MovieGallery in its acquisition of Hollywood Video, and BellSouth and Cingular in their acquisition of AT&T Wireless.

Ms. Albert has an active practice counseling clients in distribution, pricing and other Sherman and Robinson-Patman Act issues as well as Hart-Scott-Rodino compliance. She also advises trade associations on compliance with the Sherman Act.
