Al-Bashir, Lisa F.

Lisa Al-Bashir is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Commercial Department. Ms. Al-Bashir’s practice includes both bankruptcy and general litigation.

Practice

Ms. Al-Bashir has represented corporate creditors and debtors in Chapter 11 reorganizations. She has also represented a defendant in a criminal matter on appeal to the DC Court of Appeals. While in law school Ms. Al-Bashir was a member of the Appellate Litigation Clinic and helped to represent indigent prisoners in civil proceedings before the US appellate courts. 

Recent Highlights

Ms. Al-Bashir currently represents both creditors and debtors in bankruptcy avoidance actions before the bankruptcy courts.

Ms. Al-Bashir is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
