Zubrod, Tracy L.

Ms. Zerbi earned her J.D. Degree from the University of Colorado. During law school she received a William O. DeSouchet Award for Best Individual Performance in Trial Advocacy and was active with the Latino Law Student Association [LLSA] and the Native American Law Student Association [NALSA].

While studying for the bar exam, Ms. Zerbi worked as a paralegal for the law firm of Charles H. Willman, PC, and gained experience in a variety of divorce, custody, contract and property matters.  Ms. Zerbi soon went to work at the Colorado Public Defender's Office in Castle Rock; where she gained a reputation for genuinely caring about her clients and a passion for trial work.  While covering one metro and two rural dockets, Ms. Zerbi was sole or lead counsel on 15 jury trials and conducted an extensive motions practice. 

In addition to legal experience, Ms. Zerbi brings a working knowledge of science and technology to her practice.  She attended The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO; starting as a chemistry major before switching to earth sciences and earning a B.A. in Geology.  Her background as a scientist has allowed Ms. Zerbi to analyze and challenge the testimony of numerous eye witnesses, police officers and  lab technicians. By using computers and other technology during trial Ms. Zerbi has found many creative and effective methods of presenting a case to a judge and jury.
