Jack W. Zaskiewicz was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and grew up in the West Michigan shoreline town of Grand Haven, Michigan. He earned his B.B.A. from Western Michigan University in 2006, with a major in finance and a minor in economics. Mr. Zaskiewicz earned his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2009 and received an Honor’s Scholarship all three years of his attendance there. He sat for and passed both the Oregon and Michigan bar exams. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2009 and the State Bar of Michigan in 2010. After law school, Mr. Zaskiewicz joined a busy, multi-state bankruptcy firm where he personally handled and oversaw a score of bankruptcy cases in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. In addition to his bankruptcy expertise, Mr. Zaskiewicz also focuses his practice in general civil and commercial litigation, as well as collection and collection defense actions.
