Susan G. McCathran is "of counsel" with the firm. Susie has more than 21 years of professional legal experience as a member of the bar. Prior to attending law school, Susie spent three (3) years as a paralegal at a nationally recognized law firm in Atlanta.

Susie is a Special Assistant General for the Georgia Department of Transportation. She has been a Special Assistant Attorney General since 1996, having served in that capacity under Attorney's General Thurbert Baker and Samuel Olens. Susie has also served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Department of Forestry, the Department of Adult Education and the Department of Natural Resources.

Experience:

• Appointed Special Assistant Attorney General under Attorneys General Michael Bowers, Thurbert Baker and Samuel Owens for eminent domain and other real estate acquisition purposes.
• Acquired over thousands of parcels of property for the State of Georgia as a Special Assistant Attorney General.
