Kenneth D. McArthur, Jr. practices primarily in the health care industry as an attorney, a lobbyist, and a consulting expert. Mr. McArthur also teaches the Pharmacy Law course in the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at Virginia Commonwealth University's MCV School of Pharmacy. For more than fifteen years, Mr. McArthur has assisted health care professionals, businesses and associations in a broad spectrum of legal and government relations matters ranging from those involving simple counseling to those involving highly-sophisticated litigation. He has also been frequently consulted as an expert on health care issues and the health care industry. Mr. McArthur has repeatedly been selected by his peers to be included in Virginia Business magazine's list of top attorneys in Virginia (known as the "Legal Elite") practicing in the area of Health Law. Law & Politics has named Mr. McArthur a "Super Lawyer" in the category of Health Care.

Mr. McArthur recently served on Governor Tim Kaine's Health and Human Resources Transition Policy Committee. The committee was comprised of health care professionals from multiple disciplines from across the Commonwealth.

Mr. McArthur is the founder and current head of DurretteCrump's Health Care Practice Group. He is also a member of the firm's Business/Taxation and Complex Litigation practice groups-as these groups also routinely handle health care-related matters.
