Commercial Litigation
Alyssa has achieved successful outcomes for high profile companies in complex matters involving corporate divestitures and acquisitions, employee theft, employee benefits and a variety of contract matters. She recently obtained a multi-million dollar settlement on behalf of an international chemical company, representing the full amount of an escrow fund created for post-closing purchase price adjustments after a major acquisition.
She also tried a case on behalf of a chemical supplier in the Southern District of New York and obtained a million-dollar judgment that included attorneys' fees and costs, which was upheld on appeal.
Product Liability
Alyssa represents appliance manufacturers, retailers, chemical companies and component part and raw material suppliers in cases involving allegations of manufacturing and design defects, chemical exposure, fire cause-and-origin issues and equipment malfunctions.
