Steve Zadravecz's practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters. He specializes in litigation involving theft of company trade secrets, employee raiding, improper solicitation of employees, noncompetition agreements, and breach of fiduciary duty. Steve also represents employers in all aspects of employment law, including actions in state and federal court and before administrative agencies, involving employment discrimination claims, wrongful discharge and retaliation claims, wage and hour class actions, and matters relating to unfair competition claims based on California Business and Professions Code Section 17200.
In addition, Steve regularly counsels local, regional, and national companies on a variety of topics, including unfair competition, privacy, state and federal wage and hour laws, accommodating disabilities, leaves of absence, employment policies and procedures, and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. He also advises retailers and other businesses on public accommodation access laws, including Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the California Unruh Act.
Steve lectures to employer and management groups and conducts in-house workshops regarding compliance with California and federal employment laws, including federal and state family leave laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other federal and state employment discrimination laws. He develops, reviews, and implements personnel policies and handbooks for local and national companies as well.
Steve is a member of the labor sections of the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association and the business litigation section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
