Jacob L. Matson is an associate in the firm's Honolulu office and is a member of the Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group. He concentrates his practice on commercial litigation and real property disputes.
Jacob graduated summa cum laude from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law. While in law school, he served as Casenote Editor of the University of Hawaii Law Review and represented the law school in the International Trademark Association's Saul Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Moot Court Court. Jacob published an article in the University of Hawaii Law Review analyzing the constitutional implications of an automobile stop outside of a sobriety checkpoint. He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his marks in Secured Transactions.
