John was first admitted to practice law in the State of Hawaii in 1991 where he acted as a Court appointed defense counsel and was approved to handle all classes of felonies and appeals. He later became licensed to practice law in Nevada and has been working as a criminal defense lawyer in Las Vegas since 1997. He has handled cases before the Hawaii and Nevada Supreme Courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. John received a B.A. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1988, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University, College of Law in 1991.
