Wyman, Mary Kathleen

Mickey joined Gilbert LLP as an associate in August 2010.

Prior to joining Gilbert LLP, Mickey was an associate in the litigation department at Simpson Thacher and Bartlett LLP from 2007-2009, where his practice included representing a sovereign in a bilateral investment treaty arbitration against a large investment bank. He received the firm’s first annual Pro Bono Award for over 100 hours of pro bono service in 2009, including representation of a death row inmate in Missouri and filing a brief on behalf of book publishers in the reargument before the Supreme Court of Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission.

From August 2009 – August 2010, he was a Simpson Thacher Public Service Fellow at the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and Leadership Institute, where he served as Assistant General Counsel and assisted in the effort to increase the number of openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons in appointed positions in the executive branch of the federal government.
