Joseph Wyatt is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wyatt was an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in Silicon Valley and previously served as an associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP, also in Silicon Valley.
Practice
Mr. Wyatt specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies, venture capital firms and investment banks. His practice includes venture capital financings, general corporate counseling, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, SEC regulatory matters and corporate governance. Mr. Wyatt has worked on numerous public and private securities offerings, and has significant merger and acquisition experience involving both public and private companies and a wide range of transaction structures. Mr. Wyatt has served as counsel for a broad range of clients, including public and private technology companies, investment banks and venture capital funds. Representative clients have included Becton Dickinson and Company, Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Broadcom Corporation and Avid Technology, Inc.
