Henry W. Wright joined Tekell & Atkins after graduating from Baylor School of Law in November of 2009. He brings to the firm a diverse background in business, education, and community service. For more than ten years, Henry owned and operated Ryder Management Company, a residential property management business. Henry is also a partner in Waco Beef & Pork Processors, a business his grandfather (and name sake) started in 1946 when he moved from Levelland to Waco.
Since 1999, Henry has taught at Baylor University as an adjunct lecturer in the Honors College and the Philosophy Department.
Born and reared in Waco, Henry remains committed to the improvement and promotion of our community. He has served the community as Mayor of the City of Beverly Hills, a Trustee and Chair of Art Center Waco, Director and President of Friends of the Waco-McLennan County Library, Co-Chair of Waco Cultural Arts Fest, and Board Member of the Waco Zoning Board of Adjustments and the Historic Waco Preservation Commission. Henry is a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church of Waco.
In 1999, Henry married J. Lenore Womack, an Associate Professor at Baylor University and author of The Philosopher's "I": Autobiography and the Search for the Self. Henry and Lenore have one son, H.W.
