Joseph C. Wood is an Associate at Arcadier & Associates, P.A. with litigation experience at the State, Federal and Appellate levels, including oral arguments at Florida's First District Court of Appeal, trial work and handling all aspects of discovery matters in preparing pleadings, answering and propounding discovery, researching and briefing of legal issues, and drafting dispositive motions.
Mr. Wood graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 2008 with a B.S. in Political Science. During his time at FSU, he was a member Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity where he served as Vice-President and Secretary. After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Wood graduated with his Jurist Doctorate degree from Florida State University, College of Law in 2011. During his second year of law school, he studied internationally at The Tulane Center for International Human Rights and International Criminal Law in The Netherlands, and in his final year of law school he interned in the post-conviction appeals division at Florida's First District Court of Appeal, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Though a native of New Jersey, Mr. Wood has extensive family ties to Brevard County dating back to the inception of the Space Program and graduated from West Shore Jr./Sr. High School in Melbourne, Florida. Mr. Wood is admitted to practice in every state court in New Jersey, Florida, and the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Middle District of Florida.
