Mr. Woodall is a trial attorney with experience in construction law, subrogation, commercial litigation, labor and employment, personal injury/wrongful death, product and premise liability defense, real estate law and insurance litigation.

Mr. Woodall also provides special counsel services to small and mid-size businesses in a variety of industries such as construction, roofing, manufacturing, and distribution. Mr. Woodall is committed to understanding his clients businesses and helping them achieve their objectives through managing risk, negotiating contracts, reviewing, negotiating and documenting real estate and business transactions, and resolving labor and employment issues.

Mr. Woodall is a member of the Construction, Litigation, Labor and Employment, and Insurance Sections of the State Bar of Texas; the Houston Bar Association Litigation and Construction Sections; Montgomery County Bar Association; and The Woodlands Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in Texas as well as federal courts in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.

Recent Trials:
Car Sound Exhaust Systems Inc. v. IMCO, Arbitration, Harris County. Represented a manufacturer of catalyzed exhaust products and won an arbitration award against a customer/distributor for breach of a requirements contract for aftermarket converters.

Anonymous v. Titan Tire Inc., 145th District Court, Nacogdoches County. Defended a large tire manufacturer against breach of contract and DTPA claims brought by an automotive repair shop after a tractor tire exploded and fatally injured a key employee. On the third day of trial, after cross examining the Plaintiff's engineering/tire expert, the Plaintiff agreed to a favorable settlement.

Significant Settlements:
Defended a gas distribution company against claims brought by two Plaintiffs whose home was destroyed by a gas explosion. Successfully presented evidence that the gas leak was caused by a sub contractor involved in a sewer restoration project who had damaged the client's gas line. After two days of trial, the case settled with our client contributing less than defense costs.

Successfully negotiated settlement of a high exposure wrongful death case in a very plaintiff oriented venue (Jefferson County). Represented an oil field site preparation company against wrongful death and negligence claims arising out of a fatal construction accident on a barge docked at the Louisiana / Texas border.

Represented a large manufacturer of agricultural tires and negotiated a favorable settlement on client's behalf. Plaintiffs alleged strict product liability, negligence, wrongful death and were seeking punitive damages.

Successfully negotiated a settlement in a disability discrimination case for a client who was wrongfully terminated from her job at a bank because of her multiple sclerosis.

Represented an individual in a religious discrimination case and obtained a six figure settlement where he was wrongfully terminated because of his religious beliefs.
